Music can be used to create a healthy work environment, provide mental stimulation and reduce stress levels for employees. Depending on your Walkman model, you can use the device to stream music in your office as well as sync and view video content. Although a Walkman is not compatible with iTunes, you can transfer music and video files from your iTunes library using Sony’s Content Transfer or Media Go software.

Using Content Transfer

Connect the Walkman to your computer, and then open the Content Transfer software.

Click and drag the selected files from your iTunes library to the Content Transfer screen. The songs will be transferred to the Walkman. To transfer videos to the device, click the “Movies” button in the iTunes navigation pane, select the desired video files and drag them to Content Transfer.

Using Media Go

Click the 'Tools' menu on the Media Go toolbar and select “Setup Assistant.” When the Setup Assistant dialog box opens, click “Next.”

Check the box next to the “Add the iTunes Music Folder” option. Click “Next.”

Select your preferred privacy setting. By default, the program collects information about how you use the application, including the file types and devices you use. To opt out of this setting, check the box next to “I do not want to send information at this time” and click “Next.”

Click the “Preferences” button to customize your Media Go preferences, such as using Gracenote Music Database to look up music information automatically or receiving software updates when a new version of Media Go is available. Click “Next.”

Click the “Finish” button to import your iTunes music library to Media Go.

Launch iTunes if you want to sync videos from your iTunes library to your Walkman. Click the “Movies” tab in iTunes and select your preferred videos.

Click and drag the videos to the “Movies and TV Shows” tab in Media Go. The files will be copied from your iTunes library to your Media Go library.

Connect the Walkman to your computer using the USB cable.

Click “Music” in the Library navigation pane and select the songs you imported from iTunes. To sync video content, click the 'Movies and TV Shows' tab and choose your preferred video files.
