Developing software solutions that work across several devices and platforms is becoming increasingly important. With that in mind, Visual Studio 2015 attempts to streamline sharing code across platforms in a number of ways. This video provides an overview Visual Studio 2015's new shared project type and how you can use it to share code across platforms. The video also briefly covers portable code libraries (PCLs) and shares best practices for choosing a code sharing strategy.
